A hundred thousand welcomes!
I'm Lisa DiDio, a young adult and middlegrade novelist and fan of all things creative. Here you'll find my musings on writing, life and the creative process, as well as links to the people and things that delight and inspire me.
What I've been up to:
Dreams of autumn leaves, cardigans and freshly picked apples, pots of tea and pumpkin everything. (Everything but my lattes, that is. I like my coffee to taste like coffee.) It has been a long, hot, smoky summer and I am ready for fall.
After a forced hiatus due to an overcrowded house and major remodeling (like I said, long summer!) I'm back to my YA space opera, and I'm loving it!
Celestial Seasonings Cinnamon Apple Spice. Like I said, I'm in the mood…
Castle Rock. I was reading Stephen King long before I should have been, so this fresh foray into his fictional universe is sheer delight. Also sheer terror and occasionally disgust, but hey. It's King, after all.
A friend recently tipped me off to the wonder that is The Wild Reeds. Great lyrics, three distinct and fabulous vocalists who take turns on lead, and some of the best harmonies ever. So much love for these ladies!
Victoria Schwab's City of Ghosts. I've been impatiently waiting for this one since it was announced, and for good reason.
